Jayme Coveliers is a filmmaker and former ants on a log enthusiast living in New York City. They are currently attending Columbia University for their MFA in Screenwriting/Directing. Jayme’s films mix scripted scenes with improv, actors with non-actors, to create films that feel totally organic and full of life.
Their short film Unlimited, Forever and Ever, No Matter What will have its world premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2026. The film is inspired by and starring Jayme’s own mother and explores the emotional toll chronic pain has on a family.
Their first year film It’s Okay won Best Student Short at the Lake Placid Film Festival in 2023.
Along with Kamal Sehrawy, Jayme is a co-founder of the production company Double Vision, creating sensitive, funny, and hopeful films. They are currently embarking on their first feature film.
